Arnipro® ARN05 knee bandage
The knee bandage is crafted from a blend of polyamide, elastane, delivering a soft, lightweight, and breathable material. Its anatomical design ensures easy placement on the knee. Additionally, the knee bandage is infused with microcapsules containing Arnica, renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties.
This pad has a coating of microcapsules which contain extract from Arnica Montana. Arnica is a plant that grows mainly in Siberia and Central Europe as well as temperate climates in North America. The plant's flowers are used in medicine and have anti-inflammatory properties. Arnica is mostly used for pain caused by osteoarthritis or the like.
The microcapsules release their extract when in motion, offering pain relief during activity. These microcapsules, though not visible to the naked eye, do not release any visible liquid. Instead, the Arnica extract releases and provides a pain-relieving effect. To refresh the pain-relieving effect, wash the bandage. Washing the knee bandage removes some coating, exposing new microcapsules on the surface. Under normal conditions and with proper care following instructions, the microcapsules are effective for approximately 20 washes. After this, the bandage functions like a regular woven bandage with compression.
Arnipro suggests rubbing the knee bandage between your hands before wearing it. This action breaks the microcapsules, triggering an immediate pain-relieving effect.
